Who we are
Verlyn Tech (“we”, “us”) is a growth-systems team based in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. We are responsible for the personal data collected through verlyntech.com. You can reach us at verlyntech@gmail.com.
What we collect
- Enquiry form: your name, email address, company, optional phone number and the message you write.
- Email and WhatsApp: your contact details and the content of messages you send us.
- Technical data: our hosting provider keeps standard server logs (such as IP address, browser type and pages requested) to deliver and secure the site.
- Analytics: if analytics are switched on, we see aggregated information about how the site is used, such as pages viewed and buttons clicked. See “Cookies and analytics” below.
Why we use it
- To reply to your enquiry and, if you ask, to discuss a pilot project (we rely on your consent and on steps taken at your request).
- To keep the website secure and working (our legitimate interest).
- To understand which pages are useful so we can improve the site (consent where cookies are used, otherwise our legitimate interest).
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not send marketing messages unless you have agreed to receive them.
Who we share it with
We use service providers to run the website and handle messages: our web host and form handler (Netlify), our email provider, WhatsApp (Meta) for chats you start, and, if enabled, our analytics provider. They process data on our behalf. Some of them are located outside the UAE, so your data may be transferred internationally; where that happens we rely on appropriate safeguards.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries only as long as needed to respond and to keep a reasonable record of the conversation. If a project follows, we keep the records needed for that relationship. You can ask us to delete your data at any time.
Cookies and analytics
This site does not set advertising cookies. If we enable Google Analytics, it uses cookies and loads only after you click “Accept” on the notice shown on your first visit; you can decline and the site works the same. If we use a cookieless analytics tool instead, it does not set cookies or follow you across other websites.
Your rights
Under the UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data you can ask us to give you access to your data, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to how we use it, or withdraw consent you have given. Email verlyntech@gmail.com and we will respond within the time the law allows.
Children
This site is for businesses and is not aimed at children. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date above. Material changes will be highlighted on this page.
